Evolution
We call evolution a theory because there is not enough evidence to call it a law. Many people tend to be almost afraid of evolution due to their religious beliefs. Religion is based upon faith so when you take that factor out of the equation what is there to look forward to? Our society needs something to believe in and some higher power, evolution challenges their beliefs so they don't want to believe it's true. Personally I do believe in a higher power, but I also think that we evolve. Evolution has produced physical evidence over the years, but the emotional proof lies in faith. People say there are two sides to every coin and I think that is the case when it comes to evolution!

Exactly...it doesn't seem like this has to be an either/or sort of deal.
ReplyDeleteWell, I believe that our society is afraid of death, which is what happens to everything in this world. We can't all live forever, sure it's nice to think that you could go to a "greater" place after life, but I think its people being afraid to accept the fate. We all die, that's just a part of life. Live happy, don't be afraid, just be and do what you think you should do.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way as you. I believe in a higher power, but I do not dispute the scientific evidence that shows evolution. There might not be a right side in the case of evolution or creationism.
